ABOUT

MHAA MVV (1)_edited_edited.jpg

The Penn State University Master of Health Administration Association is a student organization designed for those studying in healthcare administration and related fields. The purpose of the club is to encourage conversation, innovation, and professional development in healthcare's future leaders by capitalizing on the resources of today's leaders - including Penn State faculty and alumni - and providing a platform for these discussions and learning experiences to occur.

Members of MHAA will not only gain opportunities for themselves to learn and network, but they will also be provided a pathway to volunteering and philanthropy in order to give back to the community around them. The intention is to create a space that fosters the integration of professionals, students, and the community - just as healthcare should be integrated among various groups in order to thrive.

Meetings

Meetings are held throughout the semester. The agendas range from presentations on professional tips & tricks to fun team-building games. For details about meeting dates and times, please contact us at pennstatemhaa@gmail.com or on our Contact Form.

Penn State's MHAA represents students in the Penn State University Master of Health Administration Program. For more information about the MHA program at Penn State, please click on "Penn State MHA Program" above.

Our Why

The classroom is a great place to learn, but experience and discussion don't stop there. MHAA provides a space for students to expand their learning beyond the classroom walls and advance their development as future leaders in healthcare.

Our Values

MHAA adopts the core values of the Penn State MHA Program: Integrity, Empathy, Leadership, and Innovation. We carry these values with us in all that we do and instill them in our members to ensure a positive impact in the world of healthcare. In addition, MHAA carries values for our student led organization: Comraderie, Leadership, and Community.
